New Directors Elected

On behalf of Sport Alberta, I would like congratulate the following individuals on their election to the Sport Alberta Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting of April 18, 2009.

This group of Directors joins current directors, Dale Henwood, Dave Myers , Jennifer Luzia, Jim Skillings, Scott Hayes and Peter Wong to form the new Board for 2009-2010. Congratulations to all the newly elected Directors!

I would also like to thank the numerous individuals who attended the Sport Alberta discussion session and Annual General Meeting. This was the largest turnout for an Annual General Meeting in recent history and a significant day for Sport Alberta in terms of legitimizing and validating the work we are doing.
